ZuckOff and camera glasses: what detection actually means
The app recognizes some Bluetooth advertisements from smart glasses, not whether a camera is recording.

A clue, not proof
ZuckOff scans for Bluetooth signals associated with certain camera glasses and gives a confidence level. A positive result can suggest a compatible device, but cannot establish that its camera is on. A negative result is inconclusive too: glasses may be silent, out of range or use different identifiers.
Practical privacy
Review Bluetooth permissions, notifications and the app’s data practices before use. Signal strength is not a reliable distance measurement in every setting. If unwanted filming concerns you, speak to those involved and follow local venue rules rather than treating a scan as proof. The app says it is independent of the device makers.
